Hallo people.
I'm actually based in Savannah, GA as I'm taking classes there, majoring in motion graphics. As of now, I'm having my internship in Atlanta, GA.
The photograph shown above was taken in a particularly foggy morning in Savannah, while I was on my way to work on my good old 1994 YZF-750 (It's now unsafe to ride, I'm gonna need to buy a new sprocket and chain. Ain't nobody got money fo' dat). As you might notice from the image, some of the old architecture in Savannah range from Medieval-influenced cathedrals, Greek, Gothic, and Romanesque Revival to Colonial styles. I'll soon make a trip to one of the cathedrals and take a few shots with my sophisticated 8 mega pixel autofocus Samsung Galaxy S3 camera and post them here.
I used to own a Nikon D70s and had a few lenses that I liked using, aside from the 18-55mm kit lens (Nikon 50mm f/1.4, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8). I bought the body together with the kit lens at a competitive rate of SGD$180 (USD$140) from my ex-lecturer, and I daresay I used it STRONG till it got stolen by some broke ass ***** when my temporary house got broken into during the summer of 2013, along with my laptop and my precious hard disk. Yup, Savannah's crime rate is that high. Every other day, some poor chum would get shot, and it's never safe to walk around Savannah at night. Unless you know Kung-Fu, Judo and Karate, like all Asians do.
My old camera travelled with me to places like Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, India, New Zealand and various places and cities in the US of A (Los Angeles, Santa Monica, YOSEMITE, Tucson (AZ), and of course, Savannah). Till today I'm extremely grateful to Mr. Wesley for almost donating the camera to me.
I miss my family and friends in Singapore and would love to make a trip back. However, a flight ticket would cost at least SGD$1,800 (USD$1,500) and it's tough to save that much when you have tuition fees and bills to pay for.
